short biography

Simon began DJing when he was 16 years old where he was taught to blend and cut (now called mixing or beat-matching) songs together using circular things they used to call records, that were made from material called vinyl. These were played on strange contraptions called record players or turntables, or if you were 2 kool 4 skool, they were called 'decks'!

Two years later he began work in the local nightclub where he started out as a lighting tech and occasional warm up DJ, before being given his own night and a residency. Still only 18, he was approached by Steve Thomas who was in the process of starting a new company called Luminar Leisure. Simon was asked to take on a permanent residency at a new flagship Superclub on the South East coast. The following year Simon also reached the Semi-Finals of Celestion DJ Of The Year.

Fast forward a few years and Simon is living and working in Ibiza, the dance music capital. He was involved in the original concept that became the legendary Sundance festival - an all day/night open air dance event with three arena's - The Sundance Festival saw Simon work alongside the biggest names in the DJ World. A few years later Simon single handedly created the 'Oblivion' Night in Corfu, which ran in conjunction with the bi-monthly Sundance in Ibiza - He was also the only person to feature in both SkyOnes
